I don’t live in New Orleans anymore, so I’m not surrounded by Saints fans. And we moved into a new neighborhood less than two years ago - still making friends and all that business. Friday night my wife tells me we got invited to a Super Bowl party - and we’re going.

So it’s basicslly a social obligation that I have to go and most likely have to watch this damn game.

Any suggestions?

We got invited to one also by my best friend. They came over last night for supper and when they were leaving, I reiterated to his wife that we would not attend their party. My wife had told her that a few nights ago. She told me to still come but don't watch. I still told her that we weren't going to watch this SB. And my wife is in my corner. Dang I love her! I'm sorry that I can't give you any sound advice. The only thing that I can tell you is that you do have to live with your wife, so you may have to take one for the team. Maybe she can compromise and agree to leave at the half. That way you only have 1 1/2 hours to avoid watching. Good luck.
