Can we go back to the old like, dislike and meh?

Why in the world is love it not the fleur de lis? That should be the ultimate show of respect on SR, not some goofy smiley face. Also, can we tone down that goofy smiley face? I'm not a violent person, but every time I see it, I just want to punch it.
