If I'm not mistaken he was annoyingly advocating to cut/trade Brees in almost every SSF thread during the 7-9 seasons.

Also, there was the bright fleeting shine that was LouHuang (sp?). Flew a little too close to the sun.

But that didn't stop the incoming rush of Florida Gator/Weurful fanboy cult, who overtook that AOL board and made sure NO ONE said anything that even remotely questioned Weurfuls skills. Within a space of about 1 week, I noticed all my favorite posters and online friends disappearing...conspicuously absent...leaving me nothing but a bunch of adolescent Weurful worshipers who were convinced Danny was going to lead the Saints to the promised land, if only they would draft 52 other guys to play to his strengths. (far as I could tell, his biggest strength was the ability to see out of his helmet earhole after refusing to scramble and being planted in the turf yet again)

I made a comment to a familiar name, half jokingly, "where is everybody...this isn't even fun anymore". He nonchalantly replied "oh, AndrusWhitewing started a new website for Saints fans. We all went over there." I was briefly disappointed that I wasn't viewed as worthy of the migration, but he quickly offered the website address without having to ask for it, and I came over THAT DAY. Fast forward...20 years later....has it really been that long? Time sure does fly!

Man... This is no lie. I had forgot that I was a member of a Saints forum back in the 90's. Reading this made it "click". Those names rang the bell. I was a die-hard Saints fan back in them days, but only a sporadic casual user dial-up internet. My patience wasn't a strong enough virtue back then to be able to deal with the "loading" bar. Anyway, about that time, I went on the road for several years and never even got on line. Thanks for joggin my memory!
 
Ra and Reclusive Rob were two of my favorite posters I don't see anymore. Who was it that posted a picture holding a knife in front of his computer reading SR?

Reclusive Rob had one thread where he walked around town and documented his journey with photos. I've never laughed so hard reading this site.
 
man andrus, I had a keeper league for over 10 years on FanDuel with M.O., OregonSaint, and other members here it was free, but amazing cause we all talked so much smack. FanDuel died and we lost the league. really wish I could remember everybody who was in it.

I remember that thread. A lot of pictures taken in Kenner in that thread. It was almost as epic as that Listerine clears butt pimples thread.
 
What's up Taurus. After 19 years I'm still here, but mostly lurk now, unless I see a cap this picture post.
I remember when we both went by tater and Andrus decided who would keep it.

Whatever happened to Elpaso Saint and Red Fish? I haven't seen them post for years.

Tangent....do y'all still do a golf outing every year? I haven't participated in more than a decade. It might be time to make another appearance (the course officials may have forgotten how bad I am!).

I spend most of my time on the EE. SSF is for browsing only! :D
