My last attempt

Anyone who decides to go looking for the end times already thinks they are special enough to experience it, therefore, they will automatically find clues to support it happening in their lifetime.

I don't think I'm that special. I do think that time and Earth and whatever else will be around long after humans are gone. And I think that at some point, before that time, the United States will cease to exists. But, I don't think either of those events are going to happen in my lifetime.
