The New Orleans Saints were one of many teams on hand at the Stanford Cardinal pro day, including San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch and his Oakland Raiders counterpart, Mike Mayock. Vytas Mazeika of the Mercury News reported their attendance, and Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst confirmed other teams on-site for drills and workouts.

Wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside was the big draw, particularly for the Saints. New Orleans was one of three teams to spend the most time with Arcega-Whiteside in the hours leading up to his pro day performance, per Pauline’s report, along with the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. Arcega-Whiteside is a realistic prospect to be selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, though the Saints (picking at 62) could get in the way of the Ravens (picking at 22 and 85).
