I’m all for the betterment of my neighbor. What I will not do is get behind institutions that enable poverty under the guise of assisting. And I won’t support programs that are taken advantage of on a large scale.
I'm curious, have you seen any legitimate studies and spent real time investigating the effectiveness of such things or is this just a statement based on gut feel and repeating what you heard somewhere?
