Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups

I'm all over the place. I have 1 firestick, 1 roku and an apple tv but I cant get the apple tv to work anymore.

The 2 tvs we watch the most have a cable box and are smart tvs so we really just use the wifi connection and tv remote to watch netflix/prime/hbo go etc.

If I get an antenna do I need one for each tv or is there such a thing as wireless HD antenna?

We have each of those and then some. The Roku is a better option in the US than it is here - I don't use it anymore on either of the main two TVs, so I can't really speak to that one.

The Apple store is going to be limited to apps - probably not a big deal if it doesn't work. We have a couple of 3rd generation ones and a 4th gen. The 4th gen gets the most used, hooked up to a Canadian IP for CDN apps. But, again, it's pretty limited.

For my US apps, I have a Chromecast (which is more for ease of use with the Google Home Mini system we have here) but most of what I watch is through the FireTV. I have a couple of Firesticks and they were totally fine - just a little under-powered for some of the streaming I was doing.

But those were pretty particular ones.

The Amazon Firestick app store doesn't load Google apps from the Google play store, which sucks occasionally. But I've been pleased with the FireTV and the Firestick before it.

Amazon now has the Recast, which I haven't used - and allows you to record from streaming devices, but I haven't used it.

The Firestick and a good HD antenna would probably set you up pretty easily.
