Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups

What are you guys paying for internet access? I am on a $44.95/month promo with Spectrum. Advertised at 100MB/S although I have never tested it. Supposedly (per their online chat rep) they offer a secret 30MB/S plan at $14.95/month with a phone number to call but when I asked about it I was told my address didn’t qualify. It’s as we all thought. When they control the pipeline they will just jack that price up not concerned about where you choose to get your content. One day I may choose to do without all of it.
