It's on Broad between Orleans and Ursulines. I'm pretty sure they "broast" their chicken (pressure fry). I have had very good chicken from there, but last time the pieces were really small and it was all pretty marginal.

Krispy Krunchy definitely does a number on my stomach as well.

Dude, you’re missing out. On Broad near Esplanade. It’s been there awhile, at least 15 years from what I remember.
Get the 3 piece with beans and rice. It will change your life. I went last week when everyone was talking about this damn sandwich.

I can't believe I've never seen or heard of this place. I lived in Mid City for most of my life - even grew up right off Esplanade and Broad on DeSoto St. - and this is the first I've heard of it. We used to skip school at McDonough #28 (that big square white school building on Esplanade almost right across from the CC's) and we'd walk the streets all around there smoking pot and getting food when the munchies struck. Then again, 15 years ago I was at UNO, not in 9th grade anymore. Definitely going to give it a try next time I'm looking to get something to eat in Mid City. Is it an actual sit down and eat restaurant?
