Bridgewater in Seattle (1 Viewer)

The only thing I was disappointed about from TB on Sunday was his body language after each penalty. I get that each hold was putting him in a tough spot but the head shaking and slouched shoulders weren't making the OL feel any better.

And I get that we've been spoilt by Drew's persistent 'next play' mentality but that's one of the few areas of his job that doesn't require practice reps or familiarity in the offense. That's just about his demeanor and I hope CSP talks to him about that this week.

If you're 'the guy' you gotta project that energy consistently, not just from whistle to whistle.

Bridgewater will not win us a single game in Drew's absence (you can quote me on that)....

He is the total opposite of Drew... His reads are slow, his release is long and labored, his accuracy is not good, his pocket awareness and footwork are bad, and he holds the ball too long....

Taysom Hill (and his unmatched physical talent / running ability) is our only chance to keep this ship from sinking until Drew can come back (if he comes back)... of course, that won't happen because Sean is super loyal, and he will ride with Bridgewater all the way to "sucktown".

Taysom gives us the best chance to win... He's essentially the same player as Lamar Jackson, but in a Linebacker's body... Taysom opens up the entire offense, and gives you unlimited ways to inflict big plays on the opposing defense with his legs... Bridgewater is what he is... a middle tier backup QB with a long release and bad pocket awareness....

Prepare yourself for a long season Saints fans.

I agree, I can’t ignore what I have been seeing from Teddy he won’t be able to run this style of offense because it commands allot from the QB position.

The worst thing l saw on Sunday was when he had a ton of green in front of him, a very easy first down if he had ran the ball, but he stopped and tried to throw instead, a nonemobile TB is not a good TB in my book

I would love to be wrong but I expect very little from Teddy. He’s looked average at best since he has been here. Whether it be against CAR last year (a game in which an UDFA, making his 1st start ever, out played him), preseason (where he failed to consistently keep the chains moving), or last week (showed very little touch, poor ball placement & slow decision making) he has not impressed.

It will be painful to watch our team until Sean pulls the cord on him and plays Taysom. Sean has sold Taysom as Steve Young potential. If he truly believes that he has to play him after Teddy fails. If not he’d at risk of losing: Taysom in free agency, multiple games & possible the locker room.

Teddy hasnt practiced or played with ones since the third preseason game of 2016. Sean knows what he has in Teddy. He sees him everyday. I think doubters here may be pleasantly surprised a few weeks from now after Teddy has a few weeks of practicing with ones under his belt.

he played 2 games with the ones this preseason.

Without seeing any of last weeks game nor any playbacks I say if BW does not perform the next game put in Hill. A loss is still a loss, but Hill may improve where BW may not.

Did Hill not play any at the Rams game?

The whole team was shell shocked seeing SuperMan #9 wearing a hat on the sidelines....

Teddy will be fine. We will be 5-3 when Superman comes back. With plenty of Division games at stake.
We just need to make it INTO the playoffs with #9 and rest of team healthy, and we have a shot!

Taysom will always be a better QB than Teddy. He was this preseason and that will never change. Faster, stronger, more accurate, better arm, plays with confidence, players rally around him. A natural spark. Passes the eye test.
Teddy deserves a game to put something together because they are paying him 8mil but after that it’s Taysoms job if he doesn’t produce. Sorry Teddy lovers, it’s only a matter of time before Taysom is starting.

Taysom hill has zero experience in being a quarterback when the game actually matters. Teddy has way more experience that's why hes starting.

Keyword preseason dont u realize taysom was playing against players scrubs players that didnt even make the 53man roster. Taysom has zero experience in real game time that's why teddy is starting!

Doesn’t matter. Taysom is still a better option. Teddy deserves a game to get it together but I would pull the plug quick if he isn’t doing it.
