I don't see the difference between 11 full practices with NFL athletes with no handicap and some snaps during a regular game. They'd know if he's a step behind. This hasn't been rushed at any point of the process. I like some snaps. Not all game but definitely part of the rotation.
Practices are not as intense, are often not full-speed, and don't involve playing all the way through a play with maximum force. It's war in the trenches in a real game; practice is just drills for the war.
