I tried hard to get some tickets for the game this weekend. Most of his family are Saints fans that are just cheering him to have a good game but I think they secretly want the Saints to win the game. So I was out of luck on getting tickets. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets mentioned during the game at some point. The biggest thing I’m taking away from all of this craziness is that Gardner really hoped the Saints would pick him in the draft.
After saying all of that don’t get me wrong. He’s my wife’s cousin but not mine. I bleed black and gold just like you guys. That family crap goes out the window come Sunday.
