So you want the Saints to go away from a guy who catches over 80% of his targeted passes?

And when a team ends up slowing down/stopping MT, we end up with the NFCCG. The argument is that we need to upgrade WR2 and in which case would hopefully avoid the drops, tips and INTs that have come off our our marginal WR2s we have been fielding.

Edit: To clarify, I am not advocating to stop throwing to MT. I am saying that IF a team can shut him down, we have to have another reliable option.

Many people are also making the assumption that Michael Thomas will play 16 games. Thomas is very well conditioned, and I'd say that there's a pretty good chance he does it, but what if he doesn't? Can anyone with a straight face say that they are comfortable with Ted Ginn as the Saints #1 WR. I'm pretty sure our passing game dies if we don't have Michael Thomas. We need to find someone who has the ability to be a #1 if needed but would ideally be a #2 in our offense. I personally like Emmanuel Sanders, and I've been pumping him before anyone...so I really don't need to elaborate any further.
