Seems like after the fires de-vegitate the hillsides the rain hits they have mudslides. Cannot understand why after decades of rinse and repeat the State allows the power providers to kick the can down the road and not bury the lines (esp in rural areas)?
You would think burying or encasing cross country lines would be a help. Power companies want nothing to do with that and lobby heavily to maintain the status quo. Yes it’s more costly, but then you can reduce lawsuits that way.
