With the current Injuries, we should temper our Superbowl expectations and just enjoy the rest of the season.

We are 10-3. Been a fantastic rollercoaster season. Just like the last two seasons prior, we are being hit with season ending injuries at tail end of our season.

No matter what happens, be grateful and proud of our young men. Only one team can win it all.

The days of us being a 3,4, 5 win team maybe be long behind us, but we should never act like a spoiled fanbase. This year should never be called a waste if we can't win it all. Drew Brees gets to end the year a record holding GOAT. It's been a blast and the team is so young that we got a lot of great years ahead of us.

Let's finish the year off strong and so if we can get the lucky bounce in the playoffs that we've haven't seen since 2009.
I understand what you are saying. I followed the Saints since 1969. I lived through the years where expectations were low. It was unreasonable to think were could make the playoffs, let alone win a superbowl.

That said, I think lowering our expectations would be a mistake. If you lower expectations, you unknowingly achieve lower goals.

The John Mecham years and the Tom Benson years had one thing in common, the goal of a superbowl win.

I realize we are spoiled now. It's just that I think we should say, "Don't be as disappointed if we fail to achieve our goal." Put it in proper focus.
