My mom and dad live all the way over in Fort Worth, TX, and with work and everything, it’s hard to see them more than twice a year. I’m 43 with my own two kids and miss my parents like crazy - I remember all the goofy stuff with my dad. Like the time we went fishing and caught a snapping turtle by accident. We were both horrified and fell out the canoe. Lmao. :smilielol:

Alot of what I do is inspired by my parents. My dad died in 05 and my mom in 06. They were both just 62. Like them I won't be able to leave a fortune for my kids or really anything hopefully...my dad always said he hoped his last check bounced haha. Like them what I will leave behind are memories and laughs. I miss my parents like crazy but some therapy for me is thinking of them when I'm spending time with the kids.
