Am I wrong to feel sorry for Josh Gordon?

I'm going to give what may be an unpopular answer. While it is a disease (there is no doubting that) it is a disease where the resources are available for almost anyone to recover. The thing is those resources are taken advantage of only when people are ready. In that way, there is choice involved. People actually choose not to get well. Obviously, the choice to not take advantage is usually happening when your thinking is not clear so ..its just not as simple as "they can't help it" or "they can help it"

What sucks is, people are usually not "ready" until it is too late literally or they have pulled everything down on top of them.
