30 people per 100,000! Holy shoot. I’ve always wanted to live in / around NOLA (and still do, of course), but the rate down here in Australia is 1 per 100,000. That’s significant. Any indication as to the US national average?
it makes you feel really alive though when you are once again not in that number. And I have also benefited from lower rent rates by living in some of these areas where it’s the worst. It’s a double edged sword ( or double barrel gun more likely )
