New Orleans set to finish 2019 with lowest murder rate since 1986

i see a cluster of shootings around MLK and claiborne that might have been the Daiquiri shop shooting from months ago and then the clump in Treme/8th Ward like i said
i guess it's semantics whether the 8th is 'down the road' or not

but like you admit, you're not offering data just a reasonable speculation
i guess you would want to show that shootings have remained consistent, the caliber of weapon is same/similar and a corresponding uptick in ER visits

if i'm going to speculate, i would say the post-PJ turf wars have stabilized as has the drug trade

What are you talking about? This is data from 2014-2016, the daquiri shop has nothing to do with it. The map looks like this every year. If you get google map directions from Kermit’s TREME Mother-In-Law Lounge to UMC it’s a 7 minute drive RIGHT NOW in NYE traffic.

also shootings HAVE remained consistent with an uptick actually, someone already posted that. There’s just lower lethality.

Drug trade hasn’t stablized, heroin is everywhere. US is still in a drug epidemic and SE LA is the biggest port in the world

I will once again make an inference : You are at least four drinks in :p
