A look ahead to our 2020 and 2021 rosters [draft update pg 3]

Posted in another thread...Will post it here too.

-Needs:

Offense:

1. WR #2- No need to explain why. Outside of MT, we got players dropping passes all season, running wrong routes (according to Drew), and just not able to create separations from defenders. I can't wait until Harris finally gets the route tree down. He'll be a dangerous slot WR.
2. LG- No need to explain why. Peat's done. I'm sorry, I've seen him on his knees more than....I won't go there. Keeping it PG.

Defense:

3. FS- I'm just done with Marcus Williams. Always body tackling and late on the ball...unless the football goes straight to him, and even then, I have literally witnessed him fail at catching the ball this season as the ball would just bounce right off of his helmet when he had the potential to get an interception.
4. MLB- DD plays the Will. Klein is a FA, and Kiko/AA can't stay healthy...So, you either re-sign Klein or sign someone better. let Kiko/AA fight out for that SLB position. Chances are, only one of them will play next season according to past history of injuries. Either way, the MLB position becomes a position of need. You fail to address this position, you'll once again be stuck with Teo and/or Craig Robertson as your starting MLB.
5. DE- Until Davenport can prove he can play a full 16, I rather be safe than sorry and not take our chances going into the season without addressing this position. Because you'll just get the same thing that you saw tonight: No pressure at all. I would love someone opposite of Cam Jordan who can put up Cam Jordan's numbers. SF's D-line has 3 players who are close to double digit sacks (close to even 4 players had Dee Ford not get injured). Hate to admit it, but that's a Superbowl D-line. We only have one player who has double digit sacks and a bunch of rotational/high motor players who plays with a-lot of energy but also who are not necessarily considered "starters."
6. 3 Tech DT- Probably me being stingy here, but I literally watched Kirk Cousins sit back there, take a nap, wake up, and make a pass. I would love someone who can collapse the pocket and create opportunities for the DE...Because until recently, Sheldon Rankins haven't been able to stay healthy either at this point.

-Wants:
7. Slot corner- PJ averages about one opposing TD per game. Robinson's career as a corner has a kryptonite: Being on the Saints football team.
8. Another O-linemen- I'm just so mad at the O-line for not giving Drew enough time in the first half to the point that I am tempted to add another O-linemen here..Watching Armstead get beat, Peat get beat, Warford get beat, Ram get beat is super frustrating.

That's 8 total positions. I'd be happy if we just address 4-5 of them.
