Right now the Saints are getting horrible press...and regardless of the facts of the case, they put themselves into this idiotic situation.

Indeed. Even if nothing illegal or immoral occurred it doesn't matter. The Press will run with appearances as though they are concrete proof. You can't give those self-serving liars even an appearance of wrongdoing. Especially in religion, most of them are Atheists and take great joy in destroying religion.
