With the firepower Toronto has in Tavares, Matthews and Marner, it's really impressive that guy only gave up 2 goals. I think Toronto is near the top of the NHL in goals scored. That said, I hope the Hurricanes put him back in net when they host the Stars tomorrow night. :hihi:

That's the crazy part - the "emergency goalie" is associated with the home team, so this guy gets to go out and face his own team - you know he's a huge Leafs fan, he drives their freakin zamboni (at least their nearby minor league team, which only means he's even that much more of a fan).

For us it would be like being the Saints emergency QB from their equipment staff - and then having to go in for the visiting team in the Superdome. What a crazy emotion that must have been.
