At some point you expect your tax dollars to go beyond "the ice cream machine is broken". Hell, Metairie looks like a beacon of efficiency.
So this morning I go back to the ferry for round two. Right at six the guy comes out and says there are mechanical issues and we have to get on the bus. The bus driver proceeds to inform me that they tell people that ever year, that they don’t want to run it on Monday because it will be running all day Tuesday. I’m going to call them in a bit to see if they expect them back up today.
