Watch how the Patriots ended with Brady...

The Pats have been by far the best team in the NFL for the last 20 years. And one big reason is that Bill doesn’t catch feelings. They dump players usually a year before they are washed up. This is the case here as well. Sentimentality will not win you a trophy imo.

And before I get lambasted it’s just a general observation and I’m glad Drew is back. I think he has one year left as an elite QB and want him to retire a Saint.

Yeah, I've heard about this a lot, and agree it has something to do with their success. But there are a lot of things the Pats do and circumstances that have led to their unprecedented success. Brady's continuity at QB is a HUGE part of their success.

I don't agree that this way of doing things should apply to beloved, Greatest of All Time, Hall of Fame quarterbacks. It does to a RG or a DL, but not the franchise guy and team leader. We will see how much their system brings them success without Brady.

Football success aside, isn't the point of all of this at the end of the day to enjoy our team and beloved players? I"m not saying you force a guy out there who can't play, but Brady can still play.

Have Pats fans had so much success up to this point that they are just good with Brady not riding into the sunset because Belichick has a system? Ugh. No thanks. Just my opinion.
