We've tried the scatter shot method of finding a compliment for MT. Up until now we haven't spent much capital during the search. UDFA's and low tier vets. None have worked out.
It's about time they invest some capital into the position. They tried to go the budget route with Cam Meredith, Dez Bryant, etc. They have invested a total of one draft pick over the past three seasons when they took TQS in the 3rd in '18. They did get one good season out of Ted Ginn but that's about it.
I don't blame them for trying this route because they've had a lot of success at other positions doing the same thing.
