So, I think the information is true. According to this (https://covidtracking.com/us-daily/), the US is up to 359,161 test administered. Mostly all in the last few days. South Korea (https://www.cdc.go.kr/board/board.es?mid=&bid=0030) has tested 357896.

Keep in mind that South Korea is about 1/6 the size of the US. So, we're still lagging in terms of testing as a percentage of our population, but it's also true that our testing capacity is ramping up quickly.
