COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)
I think we have the largest population that is at risk from the virus currently. Only parts of China had cases. We have them pretty much across the entire country.
Many of those ones and twos in less populated areas could become half the town in a couple if weeks.
A small town where I grew up of about 3000 people has one case that tested positive yesterday.
Where did that one case shop or go to church? Those people were probably exposed a week or two ago.
They’ve all been exposing people since then.
I think rural people especially have been underestimating the situiation.
