that tweet is actively trying to divide people

and, as I explained - I didn't think that's what the tweet was doing.

If I did, I would not have posted it.

as I mentioned above, the virus does not discriminate politically - so the point about spread and numbers relative to testing disparities seems valid. I didn't think it was a political shot at anyone.

But people did, and so I took it down and explained myself.

To say that the tweet is - definitely and unequivocally - trying to divide people means that I am doing the same thing. And I'm not. If I felt like it was (I didn't and still don't, but I get that I am in the minority on that count), then I would not have included it in the first place.
