If the owners didn't like the way he ran the league, they would get rid of him. Remember, he works for them. Not excusing his actions. He's a scum bag thru and thru. But the owners are as much to blame.
Exactly. Some of the anger and frustration fans have with Goodell is misguided at times. Most of the time he's just the owners' henchman. But it's much easier to aim the anger at one person as opposed to 31 owners and Green Bay's Board.
If the draft goes on as planned then it's because that's what the owners want.
