Has anyone tried fasting for weight loss?

Cavemen didn't fast, though. They foraged for small plants, grains, and fruits as well as other various living things between hunts/kills.

Look, intermittent fasting is one thing (eating one very large meal per day). Literal fasting for multiple days is crazy.

Calories in, calories out. It's all math.

I agree with you on calories in/out. And I wasn’t really including cavemen although I guess they did record in their way. And I could not see myself personally doing it but I can’t call a person doing it for religious or asceticism purposes crazy without the benefit of seeing from their perspective, what they got from it.
