Javon Kinlaw

Same front 4 = Same Results. And unfortunately, Rankins will never be the same player. We need to win the line of scrimmage on both sides to win it all.
Also Derrick Brown played alongside Marlon Davidson who is a monster in his own right. All im saying is Kinlaw looks like he’s worth the price if he’s available in the middle of the first.
I'll take the same results. Only the Saints and the Pats ranked in the top ten in adjusted line yards (run defense) and adjusted sack rate (pass rush).

We have five guys who can play defensive tackle that aren't named Rankins: Onyemata, Brown, Tuttle, Edwards, and Stallworth. We will be fine.

We are already down one linebacker in A.J. Klein. It's not a matter of him being diminished; he's gone. The only linebacker currently under contract for 2022 is Kaden Elliss, and he is coming off a major injury of his own. So is Kiko Alonso. Craig Robertson and Demario Davis are now on the wrong side of 30.

At corner we have a boatload of slot options but our only reserve outside is a career special teamer with no real defensive experience who played wide receiver in college. Our two starters are not under contract for 2022, and that is a notoriously expensive position. One of them is also on the wrong side of 30, as is Patrick Robinson.

Please, I beg of the Saints, do not use another high pick on a DL. Fill other, actual needs.
