I heard that Haley Joel Osment (kid from Sixth Sense) was a finalist for Anakin in Phantom Menace - The movie probably wouldn't have been much better but Anakin would have

Topher Grace as Venom was awful and I have nothing against the guy. That movie, as a whole, well they bungled the hell out of it.
Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern - hard call for me because I knew/know nothing about GL so there were no expectations for the character - the movie was bloody terrible though.

I haven't seen Jake lately but Haley Joel didn't really age well.

Haley had put on a few pounds

In all the grown up pics of Jake I've seen he looks mad at the world (though after all the abuse he took after Menace he may be)

The guy who was in Ozark this season (and Iron Fist and Banshee) can do all of the Keanu roles - and probably Gylenhall

For "A Walk in the Clouds", I would re-cast it with Gal Gadot and make it a lesbian love story.

A younger Willem Defoe as Venom and Chris Evans as GL.

You didn't list it as an option, but they totally should have cast Ansel Elgort from Baby Driver as the young Han Solo instead of Alden Ehrenreich. Looks more like him, and much closer physically to Harrison Ford (Ehrenreich is four inches shorter than Ford, while Elgort is a little taller).

If you're keeping the part/writing the same, I'm not sure any mere mortal could've done better with Riddler than Jim did.
Same for Anakin.

I’d replace every Sandler film that has Kevin James in it for Chris Farley

Emmerson in Lost has most of the demeanor that the riddler should have

Shawshank era Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor (he voiced the character in the cartoon and killed it, plus a bald Clancy looks the part)
