Crawfish boil help

I like capt sids dry spice pack but I add liquid crab oil with it and yum!

As for soaking time, grab a beer (abita strawberry or the blood orange saison from 2nd line are my go to beers for boiling right now) and taste test every few minutes after the 1st 1/2 hour. Eat when they teach the desired taste.

That's good advice right there. I love the Abita Strawberry with some super spicy crawfish or crabs.

Speaking of spices, anybody ever try the Slap Ya Mama crab boil??
I really like it as it adds more heat but I will warn you there is something in it that makes it foam up when you add it to water and boil over. So if you use it just add it slowly and only use like a small bag mixed with other seasonings. Anybody ever experienced this???
