In his media availability after signing the contract, Hill said that he basically only talked to the Saints. His agent may have had some conversations while talking to other teams about other players he represented, but that the 1st round tender made it hard for other teams to go after him. So, not only were there no offer sheets, apparently nobody was seriously discussing giving up a 1st round pick.
Also, he said that early on both he and the Saints agreed that a 2 year deal was best for both sides. So all this talk that the Saints really wanted a 3 year deal and he refused and would only take 2 are bullshirt.
