COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)

The dude essentially said he would happily sacrifice his grandfather for his kids being able to go out and socialize and people kept engaging him like that insanity was OK for four or so pages. Nothing about what he said was OK and the normalization of it isn't OK, either.

I don't think he said anything even remotely close to that. I think he has intelligently and respectfully presented a point of view that goes against the prevailing currents in this thread. I think he's made some good points and some incorrect ones, but I think he's done it gracefully and in a way that adds to the conversation. I appreciate his additions to this thread.

ETA: I guess Sammy did say something like that that I missed. Either way, my point remains.
