COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)

I mean, I get how it looks that way, but home repairs are a necessity and that's why Lowes is open. That being said, I think a lot of people are using this time to do home remodeling and home upgrades not necessary repairs. That's why places like Lowes and Home Depot are so crowded. Hopefully, those stores are doing stuff to limit the number of customers, but I don't know since I have not been to one.

But, I don't really understand how Academy Sports counts as a necessary business. All other clothing stores are shut down as far as I know and that's most of what they sell other than fishing and hunting equipment.

People are using it to do normal home stuff they do every year. Things like planting flowers, shrubs, trees, etc, spreading out mulch and fertilizer. And more people are probably doing it themselves instead of paying someone because all of a sudden we have copious amounts of time. But none of this is "needed" or necessary. I guess as long as the numbers stay below the line, then it's all good.
