I thought he was going to loosen up more on May 1 too so you aren't the only one that was wrong. But, I do think you are right that we will see people breaking the rules if things continue to go well. The problem is that if Latoya sees that, she is going to bring the NOPD hammer down. Although, after the Governor spoke, Latoya said that she could lift the order at any time. I don't think she understands the relationship between State and local governments.
But, I'm not sure how much good it is going to do the New Orleans economy to open up more at this point. It's not like we are going to get any tourist money even if we are open (especially if the bars are closed) and the oil industry is totally screwed right now. So, only locals are really going to be the ones shopping and spending money, but they don't have any money because of the issues with the oil industry and with not having any tourist dollars coming in. It's a really bad situation for us even if we open up for business.
