COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)

The C.E.O of youtube recently had an interview with one of the networks that said any video on youtube that goes against the W.H.O will be removed from the platform.

You know, because the W.H.O has literally been wrong in almost every facet of this pandemic should maintain any credibility.
It would be good if we could move away from these cartoon caricatures of international organisations and countries. If you want to see how the WHO has actually done as the situation has progressed, you can see all their situation reports here, from the 21st January to today. They've got a lot right, and many nations - including the US and UK - would be in better positions if they'd been paying more attention to them.

As for YouTube, of course they're going to use the advice and information provided by the WHO as a basis for reference for removing harmful content, because otherwise, what would they be using? Their own medical expertise? The opinions of cranks on the internet? No. Referring to the WHO is the reasonable thing to do in this situation.

That doesn't mean the WHO isn't open to criticism; of course they are. But saying they do almost nothing right and painting them as a cartoon villain that should be ignored is just plain daft.
