COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)

Oh geeeeeez........you got that right! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ž

It makes me wish everyone in the USofA could read this thread on SR and get EDUCATED!!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

I saw a nice looking older lady, on the National news, at the airport, about to get on a flight. She said, โ€œoh, nobody is sick on this plane, so we will be fine.โ€ ???๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. no mask in sight, either ?????!!!!

Then I saw a nice looking young guy on the National news, sitting in the barbershop, no mask on, getting a mop chop. He said, โ€œoh, I am not in the high risk group, so I will be fine.โ€

Then I was out walking a pup, and I saw a beautiful little girl with her dad, out taking an evening walk. They bought had masks on.
And all I kept thinking was, โ€œsuperchuck (I think it was), said, โ€œmasks on kids are not good, because it affects their oxygen levels, masks on kids are not good because it affects their oxygen levels......โ€

Oh Lord, help us get this monster contained. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

Pretty sure that was sammymvpknight who talked about the masks not being good for kids because of lower oxygen levels.

There you go with your nuance again. We live in the age of perfect or worthless. There is no middle ground and there are no mistakes, just nefarious intentions. Get with the program!

I'm still skeptical of WHO's influences. I do think that they're subject to pressure from China and other nations to slant their advisories in a given direction. They're certainly not all bad, but we can't ignore some of the poorly worded and obviously politically influenced statements they've made. They accuse others of politicizing while doing exactly that themselves hurts their credibility.

FWIW, I always thought highly of the WHO before CV19 happened. Now? Not nearly so much.
