Hogan is using the state national guard to protect the health of his residents from the federal government. This really deserves more attention. I get that the President can nationalize resources in a pandemic, but governors also have pretty broad powers too. Hogan is basically using military and police to challenge that right should the President try to nationalize those tests.

J.B. Pritzker in Illinois is doing the same thing. What's really a killer is that the Fed isn't just handing out the confiscated ppe to places that need them. The Fed is confiscating PPE and then giving it to "approved" companies who then sell it to the highest bidders.
