Dang Hump! You must have been really bored to go back to 2006! I don't remember writing that. It sure is a good exercise to compare the thoughts and hopes we had then with those we've had since Feb. 7, 2010. That day was extra special for me as it was the day my youngest child was baptised; no way I ever forget that date. I'd been coming to SaintsReport since 2002, but didn't get a username until 2006 because back then (maybe its still the same) you had to have an email address that you paid for (i.e. from ISP); whereas I had only had yahoo address since 2000. We bought a house in 2005 and started paying for internet but my wife took care of all that and it took a year before I finally had her make me an email that would allow me to do more than lurk, and my first posts were the offseason maybe not long after we signed Drew or not long before.
I just turned 40 today. The thoughts and things that came out of my mouth at 26 are much different than those at 40. Heck, looking through a shoebox with some old pictures I found all the letters I wrote my dad when I was in the Marine Corp, and I was very embarrassed when I read those. I'm not embarrassed by this OP, but i probably would have chosen another to dig up :)
