COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)
Weekly Wednesday Walmart report:
I went into two local Walmarts today. The first one was a regular Walmart and the second was a neighborhood market. I usually hit the neighborhood one after because they have some better variety on certain products and I use them as a backup in case the main store doesn't have what I was looking for.
Main store - still about 1/3 of the people had masks. Neighborhood store - at least half had masks. This is not the first time that I've observed this large difference between these two stores. I find it interesting that noticeably more people wear them at one store.
Here's where I'm getting on my soapbox. In the both stores, the arrows are CLEARLY marked on the floor for one way traffic down the aisles. I'll be damned if multiple people weren't just going about their business like no arrows were there. At least twice, I said (probably loud enough to be heard, although I had my mask on), "There are forking arrows. Use them." I know I was give stink-eye to those people, as well. It just pisses me off that you're going to have so little regard for others that you (1) don't bother wearing a mask and (2) don't bother following simple directions.
