COVID-19 Outbreak (Update: More than 2.9M cases and 132,313 deaths in US)

Agreed.. and mods, please let me know if I’m outta line- but i think it’s very clear, and not political at all, to realize that if the current occupant of the Oval Office is left to his own devices, not just ‘some people’ are going to die- but a lot of us, if staggering numbers that we cant comprehend right now, will wind up dead.. if we have to tiptoe around that, and cant state the obvious, then that’s simply dangerous... It is literally to the point where we have to figure out a way through this thing not *with* the President, but in *spite* of the President.

I've deleted a lot of the more recent stuff. I'll keep this up for now, even though it is quoting something that was deleted. These aren't all directed at you, but while we're here...

1. if a moderator or admin decides to delete a post, the worst thing to do is to re-post it and publicly ask "why was this removed".

2. stating Nov 3 can't get here soon enough, is more political than most of us would like in here.

3. Calling the president a petulent man child isn't going to fly in here either.

Now, the point about questioning the 'leadership' coming out of the Admin, vs the leadership coming from State and local leaders, is fair. The Admin as a whole has put out some good stuff, either because of or in spite of the President. However, it seems like, overall, the Fed's are defaulting to the States to make these decisions. We'll see how wise that is down the road. I'd in favor of the States controlling the situation, but with stronger federal coordination.

Let's be cautious and judicious about how we throw in politics here. On a Saints Football fan forum, you'll be expected to tip toe a bit here. In your own personal lives, or on political discussion boards, no tip toeing needed.

Thanks.
