Bountygate CliffsNotes (Long)

You are exactly right. The media had a hot topic to get people to click on...and that is all that mattered. And honestly you can't expect the average reader to follow the trial, go down the rabbit hole and get the facts themselves. But you would expect the media to do that. But unfortunately that is the age we live in...sloppy and lazy reporting.
And is exactly why electronic media is dying. Most notably; electronic sports media.

There is simply WAY too much electronic media. It is over the top and too challenging for people to determine what writers are legit and what writers are just plain writing to get hits. In other words. Lots of garbage and unsubstantiated words. So what happens over time? Everybody ends up sinking with the ship. This is exactly what is occurring now. I really no longer read any on line sports articles. EVERY writer believes they have a scoop, or a dish...etc.
