I don't know, man. I love this country more than any other, but I get a sense of contrived nationalism sometimes from all this.
That's another good point. Having players on the field during the anthem wasn't even a thing until 2009. The song itself is problematic for the hireling and slave content. I love this country enough to be critical of her and want her to be better.
