I guess the question i have is whether there's a movement to get rid of it. Is it just one, or a few people raising it, or a significant number of them? I'm just curious because I hadn't heard of this before this thread.
Yeah, who knows. I've never heard it before, and keep in mind that it was only changed by the Houston Realtor Association. Article said it had been broached a few times over the years, so it wasn't spontaneous. For all we know it was an issue raised by one realtor who might have been some white dude.
The ironic part is that this is a flash point issue that's probably going to make a lot of people angry which will create a bunch of internet conversations which will force every city's board of realtors to address it which means it'll eventually become commonplace. The outrage will bring it to the forefront.
