Deonte Harris is apparently...

According to the reports I have heard from Strief and others on WWL, the Saints staff never envisioned his growth into what he has become in his 2nd training camp. They have afforded him some opportunities as a WR candidate and he is surprising the staff with his abilities. Last year, he was just sort of a novelty they hoped would be their special teams guy. Well, since he took that bull by the horns and did what he did, he is getting his chance to show what else he can do as a WR. He is apparently getting rave reviews from the coaching and will have a greater number of opportunities this year, as a WR. The vision is not for him to be counted on as the #3 WR obviously, but to be able to come in and play the X,Y,Z positions and have defenses have to account for him and not just discount him being in the game. He will contribute at the WR spot this year.
