Deonte Harris is apparently...

....showing he is more or can be more than just a special teams beast! His route running, ability to separate and run away from defenders after the catch is apparent, according to reports I have been hearing from WWL reports. A very pleasant surprise this camp.

He showed that last year when given the opportunity. He has great hands and ran the routes very precise. I think the only issue Sean Payton has with Harris is his height and durability in the open field as a receiver. It's one thing as a punt/kick off returner to get popped when returning the ball. It's whole other story as a receiver. More opportunity to get clocked unexpectedly (blindly) while receiving.

I would definitely use him as a receiver in certain game situations. Other than Kamara (when healthy), he definitely is one of the best play makers on the field.
