Everybody wants to blame PJ Williams, but in quarters coverage if you're the deep safety you have to stay deep... you can't jump a shorter route and leave that deep route open. Its inexcusable. It depends on how Dennis Allen coaches it. He might tell them to come up and go back if they see the post. Either way Allen isn’t coaching well because the defense can’t play man coverage or zone coverage or recognize the same play three times on the same drive and ten times all game.
They could have called that ugly play action bootleg every play and still won! A good coordinator would have had his guys blast that for a sack fumble on the third try.
