Sure enough they tied it in the 8th and took the go ahead in the 9th and won

That game must've been quite some time ago because Shea Stadium was shut down and demolished like 12-13 years ago and I suspect this game you and your buddy attended was back in like late 90s when Mets were actually a halfway decent team that contended for the NL East crown or a WC spot and IIRC advanced to the World Series vs. Yankees in 2000?

What's interesting to consider if you examine the roster, depth, level of talent on this year's Braves team, they did more and over-achieved much more then what most insiders, experts and writers assumed they would compared to the 90s and early 2000's Braves teams who had HOF pitchers, legendary future HOF manager, and All-Star HR hitters then what the current team has.
